For five days, Berlin Art Week presented a diverse festival program of contemporary art with major players from the Berlin art scene. The Cologne-based artist collective “cARTelle” was also represented with their works.

Home run for cARTelle! Cologne-based artists Tanja Bäumler, Susanne Herbold, Alexandra Hülbach and Yvonne Voermans-Eiserfey are exhibiting together at this year’s Discovery Art Fair.

Since 1978, Artexpo New York has changed the way people buy and sell art. This year, over 170 innovative galleries, artists and publishers from around the world will exhibit and present exciting original artworks, prints, paintings, drawings, sculptures, photographs, ceramics, giclée’s, lithographs and much more.

Last Friday an extraordinary art and lifestyle event took place. Approx, 100 invited guests were invited to the newly built “Villa Mimosa” of the German construction company Dressler & Partner for the vernissage of my current works. The works were exhibited throughout the villa, which invited not only by its architecture and furnishings, but also by a breathtaking view of the Tramuntana mountains and the port of Port d’ Andratx.

Once a year, this prestigious publication features a selection of emerging artists. I have the great honor to be one of the 5 international artists who even received their own 4-page feature in the 2023 edition. What an honor!

Together with 50 invited guests, the exhibition “Independence” by Cologne artist Susanne Herbold was not only opened on Friday evening, but the new premises of the Pop-Up Gallery in Cologne’s Pfeilstrasse were also presented.

On August 27, the exhibition “Interlude” was ceremoniously opened at the Galeria Azur Berlin. I have compiled a few photos of the evening here.

My new series is called “Leaving Standards” because I see this as the key to achieving the next level. Be it on a personal or professional basis and regardless of which sector we belong to or in which position we work in. Whether entrepreneur, scientist, athlete or artist – probably in a few years, looking back on this time, we will realize that everyone should thoroughly review their system/context in which they live every now and then.

Having recently closed another chapter in my life, I surprisingly received an email from a gallery in New York on the same day. This gallery was none other than the established Agora Gallery in the Chelsea artists’ district. My work came to their attention and they felt that I would fit very well into their gallery’s modern portfolio.
