Opening: Pop-up Gallery & Studio
And it shows again: When life is allowed to be in flow, often unplanned projects arise. As in this case: On Friday evening, together with 50 invited guests, we ceremoniously opened my new pop-up gallery in Cologne’s Pfeilstrasse. The preparation time was a sporty 4 days. But 4 is better than 3 :) The project is a wonderful interim solution until the next long-term lease, which certainly benefits not only both parties (owner and tenant), but also Cologne’s walk-in customers. Art is always nicer than empty spaces. The modern store is predestined by the bright window front, an interesting cut and the excellent location, so the next long-term lease will certainly not be long in coming.

“If I had had time to make a wish about what my art could do with right now, I would have said: more visibility in downtown Cologne!”
These were my words during the pre-opening. How quickly wishes come true is something I’ve noticed this year in particular. And that the opening had to take place at Art Cologne of all times, I owe not only to the spontaneity of the owners, but also to my husband Marcel Wüst, who did not let himself be deterred by the given 4-day window. There was a lot to organize.
So it was all the nicer to toast to this beautiful location together with the guests! By the way: Not only Marcel and I had a small preparation window – that of our guests was even smaller (2 days) :) Many thanks to all who enriched this evening with their presence!
