Updates yes – Newsletter no
With regard to current exhibitions, new works and projects, the question for a newsletter often comes up. I had also offered this for many years, but then decided to discontinue it. I don’t know about you, but I find that in everyday life we already face a flood of emails that the joy of another “update” is not always one. And since my personal time is simply sacred to me, I have since unsubscribed myself from almost all automated email updates.
Better direct than automatic
I’m very active on Instagram and LinkedIn, and news is regularly communicated there. For those who don’t have access to this – or just like it more personal – I invite you to connect with me via WhatsApp. In addition to the social media channels, my WhatsApp status not only also contains news about my art, but we also have the opportunity for direct contact. What could be better? :)

As an artist, it is not primarily beauty that I focus on in my work. Beauty is relative, in times like these actually already inflationary (and it lies anyway in the eye of the beholder). To strive for beauty alone could be something like merely celebrating the magic of sunrise and then going back to sleep. Not knowing what we will miss between morning and evening... 😉
Therefore: For me, a painting is not complete until I can see and feel the #harmony in the piece of art. 🙌
