EXHIBITION IN THE LENNÉ GALLERY
Lenné Karree, Bad Oeynhausen
Lenné Karree, Bad Oeynhausen
Thanks to the friendly support of the owner (SITUS II GmbH), 13 of my large-format print editions were able to move into one of the currently free gallery spaces in the beautiful Lenné Karree in Bad Oeynhausen on Tuesday. As a freelance artist it is of course the greatest thing when works get “space”. In this case, the space is even to be taken literally, because it puts the works in the limelight with its imposing size. The exhibition in the Lenné Karree is designed in such a way that it can be viewed exclusively from outside. This will certainly meet the needs of people who currently wish to be a little more cautious with regard to larger crowds in rooms. In addition, thanks to the appropriate lighting, the works can also be ideally seen at night through the large window fronts.
What I particularly like about this exhibition concept is the fact that it allows my paintings to reach people who would normally perhaps rather NOT come into contact with art. I imagine it to be very exciting, when you stroll through the pedestrian zone (maybe even unsuspectingly) and suddenly are illuminated by the “Soulion”, “Freebird”, “Magic Forest” & Co. and can dive into the blue freshness of the two “h2o” works… Of course I am very curious what the people from Bad Oeynhausen will say about the colorful exhibition.
The works can be purchased. For this purpose a simple contact by email oder phone. A part of the exhibition proceeds will be donated to the Tafel in Bad Oeynhausen.
The art print editions can be ordered in many sizes. I have compiled further information here.
But that was not the whole story: The Bad Oeynhausen photographer Oliver Windus, who is known among other things for his spectacular aerial shots and image photos, was enthusiastic about the idea that his photos will be the basis for my next YOUR-ART painting by fusing photography and painting. This unique piece will also be on display in the exhibition at the Lenné Karee and will later find a happy new owner for the benefit of a good cause in the region. The general conditions for this are currently still in planning.
In my opinion, this concept is transferable to many places. Cooperations of this kind give artists space and cities culture and atmosphere, because the out-of-town shopping centers that are so popular in many places because of their large parking areas have consequences for the inner-city image. It is up to all of us to question whether convenience is always worth any price. I think that, at the latest in these times, more people are again seeing the added value of small (and large) individual stores in their own city center. Why not just take a little more time, park the car outside – or take the bike – and stroll through our beautiful cities? I’ll join in – you too?
THANKS
I thank the owner (SITUS II GmbH) for the platform & support of this exhibition in the Lenné Karree.

Worth knowing: Lenné Karree in Bad Oeynhausen
The Lenné Karree shopping and service center, which is directly adjacent to the Kurpark, was completed in 1999 and offers space for established companies as well as retail and gastronomy on a total rental area of 6,643.56 m², distributed over 6 floors. The shop/retail areas are located directly in the Lenné Karree and are also partially accessible from the outside. Large entrance portals allow a friendly and open access. To the outside, the retail spaces present themselves through large shop window fronts, which are partly visible within the center as well as from the outside.
