Together with 50 invited guests, the exhibition “Independence” by Cologne artist Susanne Herbold was not only opened on Friday evening, but the new premises of the pop-up gallery in Cologne’s Pfeilstrasse were also presented.
The pop-up gallery is a wonderful interim solution until the next long-term lease, benefiting not only both parties (artist and tenant), but also Cologne’s walk-in customers. The modern store is predestined with its bright window front, interesting layout and excellent location, so the next long-term rental will certainly not be long in coming – or the next exhibition.

Modern pop-up gallery in top location
“If I had had time to make a wish about what my art could do with right now, I would have said: more visibility in downtown Cologne!”
The opening vernissage took place at the same time as Art Cologne (20.11. – 23.11.). Due to the prominent location in the city center, visitors to Germany’s oldest art fair also joined the invited guests – and purchased a great piece of work from me. Many thanks to my wonderful guests who enriched this evening with their presence!
