FOUR – Four artists. Four positions. One exhibition in Cologne.

FOUR brings four independent artistic positions into a joint dialogue. At the Narander Art Experience in Cologne’s Rheinauhafen, Alexandra Hülbach, Tanja Bäumler, Yvonne Voermans-Eiserfey, and Susanne Herbold come together as the artist collective cARTelle—with different styles, but a shared attitude.

The exhibition stands for exchange, resonance, and further development. What connects the four is not a common style, but the conviction that contemporary art arises from inner movement, reflection, and personal attitude. FOUR is not a juxtaposition, but a collaboration: four perspectives that make each other visible and enrich each other.

Four artistic positions in dialogue

FOUR brings together four artistic styles that could hardly be more different—and it is precisely this that gives them their collective power. Their expression, technique, and visual language vary, but they are united by a shared interest in color, form, emotion, and energy.

Alexandra Hülbach creates multi-layered color spaces of great depth that oscillate between calm and inner dynamism.

Susanne Herbold combines movement, rhythm, and light to create powerful compositions that shift between reduction and intensity, generating emotional and visual tension.

Tanja Bäumler brings liveliness and friction to the canvas with expressive color, humor, and a social perspective.

Yvonne Voermans-Eiserfey translates emotion and identity into impressive animal portraits—symbols of strength, vulnerability, and dignity.

The overall effect is an exhibition in which each position retains its own voice while also becoming part of a shared dialogue. Diversity appears here not as a contradiction, but as a strength.
