Whether we are entrepreneurs, scientists, athletes or artists &#8211; probably in a few years time, looking back, we will realize that everyone should thoroughly review their system\/context in which they live every now and then.<\/p>\n<p>This is only possible with one&#8217;s own honest reflection. Checking whether one&#8217;s own standards and values are still valid and (sometimes courageously) deriving new values and ways from them. And should we find out that one or the other is no longer valid for us, it does not mean that our way was wrong before! It only means that it no longer fits. Everything has its time &#8211; but this time is also constantly in motion.<\/p>\n<h4><br class=\"avia-permanent-lb\" \/>Leaving standards<\/h4>\n<p>And so it was with my latest work: In the process of creating these two works, I have questioned all the techniques that I have acquired over the years, and tried new things. I turned to new colors, let new contrasts emerge. But I also decided anew which style of mine should remain and which not. The result: a powerful explosion of color: &#8220;Freak Out!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>When I look into the current world events with a greater distance, it occurs to me that here, too, much leaves the standards. data-mce-href=\"https:\/\/www.madsgallery.art\/\" href=\"https:\/\/www.madsgallery.art\/\">M.A.D.S Art Gallery&#8217;<\/a>s digital exhibition &#8220;SACRIFICE.&#8221; This will run <strong>until December 23<\/strong>, 2021 . In this extraordinary concept, the works will not only be visible and &#8220;touchable&#8221; on giant touchscreen monitors. They will also be presented simultaneously in both M.A.D.S. Art Galleries (Milan and Fuerteventura). Below is an excerpt of the review by Marta Graziano | Curator M.A.D.S.:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span id=\"_mce_caret\" data-mce-bogus=\"1\" data-mce-type=\"format-caret\"><\/span><em>The two works belong to the Leaving Standards series. They develop from a dominant colour (pink in Freak Out! 1.0 and blue in Freak Out! 2.0) that pervades the entire pictorialsurface, enveloping and enhancing the vivid colour combinations that occupy the centre of the composition. Both canvases suggest vitality, freedom and slight unruliness, all sensations suitable for<\/em><br \/><em>conveying Susanne&#8217;s interpretation of the exhibition&#8217;s theme.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Indeed, through these dynamic compositions, she reinterprets the concept of sacrifice, highlighting not the sense of loss usually associated with it, but its ability to stimulate change. For her, sacrifice means<\/em><br \/><em>accepting what has already been done and questioning our beliefs in order to adapt to the next level. Her works celebrate sacrifice as a prelude to innovation, making us reflect on how abandoning the known to<\/em><br \/><em>take new paths does not mean sacrificing and denying what we have already done and experienced. Demonstrating that she has interpreted the theme of this exhibition perfectly, Susanne conceives these<\/em><br \/><em>works as a gift for her audience. It is a symbolic offer to the viewer, through which she grants access to a limitless dimension in which everything becomes possible<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div><div
